Even though in-person theatre and dance are back in full swing, in the name of accessibility we're continuing to round up performances to watch online from the comfort of home. Our curated list spotlights the five best options to stream this weekend, Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 22, for free or at low cost.


Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical

Starts streaming Friday, June 20 to Disney+ subscribers for free.

For fans who can't "Let It Go," the stage adaptation of Disney's beloved animated movie Frozen begins streaming on Disney+ this weekend. Recorded live onstage in London, the musical features 12 additional songs alongside hits "For the First Time in Forever" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" as well as incredible special effects.

Actors Theatre of Louisville: Gender Play, or What You Will

Live-streaming Friday, June 20 at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 21 at 9 p.m. and Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m. ET for $39

The lauded Actors Theatre of Louisville is currently presenting an in-person production of Gender Play, or What You Will and you can watch the final weekend of performances online courtesy of The League of Live Stream Theater. Co-created by Will Wilhelm and Erin Murray, this solo show stars Wilhelm as a trans actor who reimagines Shakespeare's canon through a joyfully queer lens.

FRIGID New York: Queerly Festival 2025

Put on your lavender-colored glasses for FRIGID New York's 11th annual Queerly Festival, a grab bag of LGBTQ+ culture. This year's theme is queer resilience and revolution, and many offerings are being live-streamed to at-home audiences. This weekend you can catch a Harlem Renaissance-themed Drag History Hour (June 20); Chapin Rao's Boy Meets Girl (or The Trials & Tribulations of a Queer Man Living Under A Curse) (June 21); and Disko Boy starring drag king Hans L'Adida (June 21-22). The luminous Broadway soprano Melissa Errico frequently collaborated with Stephen Sondheim, starring in lauded productions of Sunday in the Park with George, Passion and Do I Hear A Waltz?, as well as performing his work at numerous events. In this new concert, she shares some of her favorite songs by and stories about the late legend, and welcomes special guest Len Cariou, who originated the role of the Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd. Broadway Voices Unite: A Harvest Home Benefit Concert

Live-streaming Sunday, June 22 at 10 p.m. ET for FREE

Harvest Home, a nonprofit that helps homeless pregnant women, is hosting its annual in-person fundraiser featuring a slew of Broadway stars and the festivities are being live-streamed on Seth Rudetsky's Stars in the House. The lineup includes Jason Alexander, Rachel Bloom, Rachel Bay Jones, Sharon Lawrence, Alex Newell, Tracie Thoms and more! Great performances for a great cause.
